Good day, amazing and beautiful readers!

    My name is Jole Leonard, and I’m so glad you’re here. Welcome to my little corner of the internet—aka my digital diary. This blog is a space where I’ll share the real, the raw, the ridiculous, and everything in between. And trust me, there’s a bit of a backstory behind it all.

    Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with writing. I was reading Twilight at 4 years old (yes, really), and I used to create whole worlds in my head. Complete with characters, settings, and little drama arcs. Eventually, I started turning those daydreams into stories, spending hours writing mini-novels. I wish I still had them, but sadly, those stories have been lost.

    Then came January 2025 and my composition class, which reignited my love for writing in a whole new way. I was completely drawn in by the art of it all. My professor, Dr. Cryer, was incredible—even though we didn’t always see eye to eye (I'm definitely more of a “go with the flow” writer than a “by the book” one). Still, I respected him deeply, and I always gave the class my all.

    My final paper for that class was a deeply personal piece about a dark chapter in my life, and how it ties into a bigger global issue. It meant the world to me, and it was met with so much love and encouragement from my professor, friends, and family. In fact, Dr. Cryer told me, “You should publish this. People need to read it.”

    So here I am, doing just that.
    This blog will be my space to show the good, the bad, and the scandalous.
    That’s why I named it Jole Leonard’s Digital Diary.

    It’s currently way past my bedtime (classic ADHD girl behavior), so I’m going to wrap this up. But I truly hope you’ll stick around. To read, to reflect, and maybe even relate. Whether we’re diving into deep conversations or just vibing with daily life, I’m happy to have you here.

Life Lessons I Learned In Gilmore Girls

  There’s something about Stars Hollow that makes you want to drink coffee at 11 p.m., read five books at once, and cry about a boy you saw for two seconds at the town hall meeting.       I first watched Gilmore Girls because everyone said, “You remind me of Rory.” But what kept me watching was the warmth, the chaos, and the comfort of a world where quick-witted women ran the show.      Here are some of the most important (and oddly timeless) life lessons Gilmore Girls taught me: 1.
